What makes CellTester different
Signal testing for IoT has a fundamental problem: the tool doing the testing has nothing to do with the hardware being installed. A handheld tester with an internal stub antenna gives you a reading from a generic device. CellTester gives you a reading from your actual router with your actual antenna in its actual position. These are not comparable measurements.
The difference can be 15-20 dB. That is the difference between a marginal installation and a solid one. Between a router that works reliably for three years and one that calls support every winter.
CellTester capabilities
- 4G LTE, 5G NR SA/NSA, NB-IoT, LTE-M and 5G RedCap - all supported on compatible Teltonika hardware
- Automated operator sweep across EE, Vodafone, Three and O2 with Ookla speed test on each
- Live antenna aiming - RSRP updates every 0.6 seconds for real-time directional optimisation
- 2x2 and 4x4 MIMO port analysis with fault detection on delta above 10 dB
- APN validation against a database of known-good APNs for each UK operator PLMN
- Router configuration push via RutOS API - primary PLMN, failover, band lock, ping watchdog
- Public IP CVE scanner - checks WAN IP for exposed ports and known vulnerabilities
- PDF commissioning certificate - records all signal data, config applied and security status
- Battery-powered operation - works with Teltonika BAT120 or 12V DC power bank, no site power required
- Unlimited test history with CSV export
